Anona is the solo project of Ella Oona Grace Russell, a multi-instrumentalist and former stand-up drummer/flautist with The New Eves. Her debut EP and the single "Same Old Lady" were released in 2023, with the single issued on November 28, 2023 via Strong Island Records; she records largely in a homemade studio and performs with an expanded ensemble.
