Born of Ghosts is a combination of new school alternative rock and old school gritty blues with a psychedelic edge. Their high energy live performance showcases their unique sound; a show that can’t be missed. B.O.G. is Jon Schmidt on guitar, Jacob Schmidt on drums, Kyle Finkelnburg on bass and vocalist Jesse Schmidt. The band formed in the summer of 2009, although writing styles have progressed since then, the drive and desire to perform and create dynamic music is still the main focus. Taking brash beats, bluesy tones, driving vibrations and haunting melodies, Born of Ghosts looks to make some noise in the upcoming years. The release of the self-titled "Born of Ghosts" EP in August 2012 marked a new beginning for the band, giving fans accessibility to the music. With an increasing number of shows, Born of Ghosts is excited to share songs from their album as well as new material they are in the process of writing.
