Fern Spores is an all-woman project fronted by singer-songwriters Alyssa Nunke and Jade Kovats, with Abbey Ryle (violin) and Katie Welch (drums) in the full band. They released the debut album The Understory, issued the single "Ain’t The Marrying Kind", and actively tour the Pacific Northwest while prioritizing bookings with women-owned venues and LGBTQ+ community spaces.
