Henry Diltz is an American musician-turned-photographer who co-founded the Modern Folk Quartet and rose to prominence documenting the 1960s–70s Laurel Canyon scene. He was the official photographer at Monterey Pop and Woodstock and shot iconic album covers such as The Doors' Morrison Hotel and James Taylor's Sweet Baby James. Diltz co-founded the Morrison Hotel Gallery and has been honored by the Recording Academy for his contributions to music photography.
