Since forming his first band in 2014, Joel Astley has established himself as a harmonica-playing singer-songwriter and bandleader known for energetic live shows. He has received numerous recognitions from the Washington Blues Society (including multiple "Best of the Blues" awards), earned a Silver Medal from the Global Music Awards in 2023 and an Honorable Mention in the 2024 International Songwriting Competition for “Secondhand Kid.” He is a Lee Oskar Featured Artist and releases music on MoMojo Records and Bandcamp.
