Marc Broussard grew up in Louisiana, shaped by its rich music scene and his father, a Hall of Fame guitarist. He broke through in his early 20s with Carencro and the hit “Home,” earning a reputation for his soulful, powerful voice.
After time with major labels, he returned to independent music and began tying his work to philanthropy through his S.O.S. album series. In recent years, he’s continued evolving his sound with projects like Time Is a Thief and the blues-driven Chance Worth Taking, staying rooted in his signature “bayou soul.”
