Roxbury Saints formed in 2023, bringing together four longtime contributors to the local music scene: Dan Cunneen, Randy Lee Fader, Mark Wooten, and Jason Reavis, many of whom previously played in bands such as Zipgun, Nightcaps, and The Dusty 45s. They have released live recordings (for example Live at The Royal Room and How Bad? — Live at Hallowed Halls) and use the self-descriptor "Black-Eyed Soul" to characterize their material.
