Seattle Public Schools educators and community partners are invited to join Seattle Public Schools Visual & Performing Arts Program and the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture for an evening featuring updates, networking, and after-hours engagement in the museum galleries.
The Creative Advantage is a citywide collaboration that expands equitable access to arts education for students in Seattle Public Schools through collaboration with principals, teachers, and community arts partners. The Creative Advantage is a collective impact partnership between Seattle Public Schools Visual & Performing Arts Program, the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, community arts partners, and the Seattle Foundation. Together, we're all working to ensure every Seattle student receives the high-quality arts education they deserve.
Support for K-12 programs during the 2026-2027 school year is provided by the Foster Foundation and BNSF Railway Foundation. Partial, sustained support for SAM’s K-12 programs is provided by an endowment established in 1999 by a National Endowment for the Humanities challenge grant and the generous contributions of matching donors, including the Ann P. Wyckoff Education Endowment. The William Randolph Hearst Endowed Fund for Education Programs at the Seattle Art Museum has supported SAM K–12 programs since 1994.
