Global Groove with Analog Africa

Global Groove returns to Baba Yaga for a special night celebrating
Baba Yaga’s anniversary and the launch of our new monthly residency.

For this edition, Global Groove will take over both rooms of Baba
Yaga, expanding the night into two simultaneous spaces of live music
and DJ programming.

Expect a wide-ranging journey through psychedelic cumbia, samba,
electronic music, African grooves, tropical sounds, and global dance
music, bringing together artists, selectors, and music researchers
from Seattle and beyond.

We’re especially excited to welcome Analog Africa and Rasta Pasta
Records for a special collaborative set, bringing their deep knowledge
of rare recordings, African and tropical sounds, remixes, and global
music culture to Global Groove.

Two rooms, continuous music, and a lineup connecting live performance,
vinyl culture, contemporary electronic music, and sounds from across
the global diaspora.
