Stout Pounders is a Seattle-based Irish Folk and Celtic Rock band
that infuses fresh energy into traditional Scottish and Irish Folk music while
incorporating original songs influenced by genres ranging from Ska to Metal.
The band has shared the stage with renowned Celtic Rock acts such
as Young Dubliners, Seven Nations, and Screaming Orphans. Since 2009, they have
been the house band for Seattle's largest and most established fun run, the St.
Patrick's Day Dash, and are a regularly featured band at the largest Celtic
music festival on the west coast, Galway Bay's Celtic Music Feis in Ocean
Shores, WA.
