About

Two member favorites, one stylish morning.

Join us on September 27 for a combined Member Morning x Curator Talk, celebrating the new exhibition, Styled by the Streets: Black Women in Hip-Hop Fashion.

Start your day with coffee and pastries before sitting down with curators Dr. Adeerya Johnson and Sharon Kong-Perring, joined by special guests Temeka Jackson (CustomT Nails) and Dr. Melz and Ariel (Melz Grillz). Together, they'll discuss the influence of Black women in Hip-Hop fashion and their creative experiences contributing to the new exhibition.

After the talk, stay for a curator-led group tour of Styled by the Streets. Enjoy a first-hand look at the stories, style, and cultural impact behind the exhibition—straight from the team who brought it to life.

The Details:

9:00 AM–10:30 AM: Enjoy complimentary coffee and pastries in Culture Kitchen with all galleries open for exploration

10:30 AM: Doors open to the public
