Join Living Voices on this Free First Thursday for a double feature showcasing the contributions of women to the aeronautics industry of WWII.
5:30pm: “Fly for Freedom” amplifies the contributions of Black women in the WWII aeronautics industry, through the Rosie the Riveters who built planes in Boeing’s factories, the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs), the Tuskegee Airmen, and the Double Victory campaign.
6:30pm: “Winning Her Wings” brings to life the groundbreaking Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs). Follow journeys of women who faced and broke barriers together, fighting for justice in a time of global conflict and domestic prejudice.
