Fremont Abbey Arts Center is a nonprofit community venue housed in a restored 1914 former church that reopened in 2008 after major renovations. It’s known for intimate, all-ages concerts and multi-arts programs like The Round and The Moth Seattle Slam, and has hosted early performances by artists such as Mary Lambert and Damien Jurado. The upstairs Great Hall is rated for 251 people, and the Abbey sits in Upper Fremont amid cafes and neighborhood restaurants, making it an easy pre- and post-show stop.

Free street parking in the surrounding blocks; a paid lot is about one-third of a block north on Fremont Ave by Uneeda Burger. Performer load zone is at the corner of N 42nd St & Fremont Ave N.

King County Metro Route 5 stops at N 43rd St & Fremont Ave N, steps from the venue; Routes 40 and 62 serve Fremont a short walk away near N 34th–35th St by the Fremont Bridge. It’s also a short walk to the RapidRide E Line on Aurora Ave N.
