Since the Inaugural Game on July 15, 1999, T-Mobile Park has gained a reputation locally, regionally and nationally as a terrific setting for baseball and a great place for baseball fans. Sweeping views of Seattle's downtown skyline, breathtaking sunsets over Puget Sound, combined with excellent views of game action from all angles give fans at Safeco Field an experience unequalled in Major League Baseball.

The official Mariners Garage at 301–337 Edgar Martinez Dr S sits just south of the ballpark and connects via a skybridge; additional paid garages and lots are available north of the stadium in the central business district.

Public transit

Link light rail’s 1 Line serves Stadium Station (two blocks from the ballpark) and International District/Chinatown Station, both a short walk away; ST Express and King County Metro buses also serve nearby stops, and Sounder trains run to King Street Station for select weekend day games.
