Opened in 1926 inside the historic Skinner Building, The 5th Avenue Theatre is a landmark, Chinese?inspired venue that presents locally produced musicals, pre?Broadway premieres, and national tours in the heart of downtown Seattle. The 2,130?seat house has served as a testing ground for Broadway works such as Hairspray and Disney’s Aladdin and remains the resident home of the 5th Avenue Musical Theatre Company. Its central location places it steps from the retail core and Pike Place Market, with plentiful dining and hotels nearby.

Parking

No dedicated lot; nearby paid garages including U.S. Bank Center Garage (ACE) at 550 Union St/1465 6th Ave, about a block and a half north of the theatre; street parking is limited.

Public transit

About two blocks east of Sound Transit’s Link light rail Symphony station (formerly University Street); Westlake Station is also a short walk. Multiple King County Metro bus routes stop along 3rd Ave in the downtown core.
